We, humans, love to feel smart. We will do anything to convince ourselves that we are smarter than other humans and vastly superior to all of the organisms who came before us.

Humans have always wanted a way out;

An escape from our own imperfection, death, or whatever it is that has haunted us since the beginning of time.

Humans have always wanted a way out, and they’ve had many.

We invented religion to explain why some people are born good and others bad, but that didn’t stop us from sinning.

Humans invented science to explain where they came from, and how they work, but that didn’t stop them from destroying their home planet.

We, Humans, invented technology to give us a way out of our day-to-day lives, but that didn’t stop us from being lonely.

Humans invented philosophy to answer the questions that science and religion could not, but we haven’t been able to solve anything with it.

Humans will always want a way out of their problems.

Humans have been trying to find a way out of the kind of life they live for thousands of years, and they’ll keep looking until every star burns out.
