Guiding a Psychedelic Trip is Wrong
You don’t need a guide.
In my opinion, people on strong psychedelic trips are basically the best judges of what is going on in their own minds and should not be forced to do anything. They should just be left alone and allowed to experience whatever reality they happen upon.
The idea of 'teaching' people about psychedelic trips is mostly wrong-headed. People need to learn how to handle their own experiences.
The decision to take psychedelic drugs should not be taken lightly, but rather after extensive research and even meditation. People should also know what they are getting into with these substances. So if someone is planning on taking a strong psychedelic trip, the best way for them to handle it is simply by meditating beforehand.
People who take psychedelic drugs should be encouraged to listen to any advice that is given, but ultimately they are the ones in control. They are the ones experiencing it firsthand, and only they can make decisions about how to move forward.
There is no one way to handle a psychedelic trip.
If someone has an experience they don’t like, it’s important to remember that it will pass.
