Meditation is a great tool for keeping us informed of the state of the body and mind, but it’s no medicine.
Trauma — no — life, has to be expressed and lived out. Animals shake uncontrollably after surviving an attack by a predador. This releases the trauma away from the body and mind, and the animal can keep on living without overwhelming fear and PTSD.
Laughing is great because is a whole body activity that shakes the body in such a energetic way that all the hidden energy is lived out.
Shake it off, as they say.
