The Second World War gave birth to two technologies that have fundamentally changed how we see the world and ourselves. One had the entire nation behind and was meant for war, while the other had only one man, ultimately expanding the human mind's horizons. At the heart of WWII, in neutral Switzerland, a chemist accidentally discovered a substance that had powerful psychedelic effects on the mind and the capacity to trigger deep beneficial transformations in those who consumed it.

LSD-25 was the 25th compound extracted from a fungus called Ergot by Alber Hoffman. After the effects and safety were carefully assessed, LSD was swiftly turned into a product called Delysid. This LSD-based product went on to change the landscape of psychology as it allowed health professionals to gain a novel advantage point on the mind. Years later, at least 2 Nobel prize winners have attributed their prize-winning Eureka moments to the mind-expanding properties of LSD, not to mention other public figures, politicians, and artists who have benefited from the effects of a meaningful and therapeutic LSD experience.
